Bumper Vacancy – FCI Recruitment 2022

Notification for FCI recruitment 2022 has been published. The Food Corporation of India invited applications for a total of 5043 non-executive positions. These recruitments will cover 2388 posts in the North Zone, 989 posts in the South Zone, 768 posts in the East Zone, 713 posts in the West Zone, and 185 posts in the North East Zone. Junior Engineer Assistant Steno is one of the positions being advertised.

Candidates can only apply for one post within the same zone at a time. In January 2023, an online test may be conducted for final selection. The deadline for applications for the FCI vacancy 2022 is 5 October 2022 at 4:00 PM.

What is The Qualification to Appear for FCI Exam?

To apply for JEE posts at FCI, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant engineering discipline or a diploma in the relevant engineering subject. In addition, they must have 1 year of work experience. For the post of Steno Grade 2, applicants must have a graduate degree and must possess a typing speed of 40 words per minute. In addition, they must have a shorthand speed of 80 words per minute.

For the posts of Assistant Grade 3, it is necessary to have a bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject. Along with this, the age limit has also been fixed for the applicants, detailed information on which is available in the table provided here.

Age limit, qualification, and experience will be determined from August 1, 2022. A relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST category applicants and a maximum of 3 years for OBC category applicants is applicable. The maximum age limit will be 50 years for the current employee of FCI.

How to Apply Online for FCI Recruitment 2022?

To apply for the non-executive posts at the Food Corporation of India, visit www.fci.gov.in. Applications can only be submitted online. The form will not be accepted by any other method.

As part of the application process, applicants must also pay an application fee of INR 500. Applicant’s fees can be submitted online or through debit card, credit card, internet banking, IMPS, payment wallets, and UPI. There is no application fee for SC/ST/PWD, serving defense personnel, ex-servicemen, and women.  

What is The Pattern of the FCI Exam?

Applicants will be selected through an online test, skill test, and document verification.

The online test will be held in 2 phases. Phase one exam will be common for all the posts. In this 100 questions of 100 marks will be asked. The FCI exam will be for a total of 60 minutes i.e. 1 hour. The online exam will be of objective type with multiple choice questions. One mark will be awarded for every correct answer and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. If an applicant does not answer any question, then no marks will be deducted.

Paper will be taken post-wise in Phase 2. Applicants will also have to give a skill test for the posts of Steno Grade II.
