The detailed SSC CPO Syllabus and exam pattern has been discussed in this update. The Staff Selection Committee has released SSC CPO 2023 Notification recently and the last date for filing online applications is 15/08/2023.

SSC CPO Exam Pattern
The examination comprises four mandatory stages: Paper-I, Physical Standard Test (PST)/Physical Endurance Test (PET), Paper II, and Detailed Medical Examination (DME).

Some Important Points to Keep in Mind
- Question Type: Objective Multiple choice type.
- Language: Hindi and English Both.
- In both Paper-I and Paper-II, one-third marks for each incorrect answer will be deducted as a negative mark.
- The marks obtained by candidates in the Computer Based Examination will be normalized using the formula published by the Commission. These normalized scores will be utilized to decide the final merit list and determine the cut-off marks.
- After the exam candidate can go through the answer sheet and if he finds any mismatch, he can submit it for correction with a fee of Rs. 100 per question. But remember you are bound to accept the commission’s final decision.
- NCC certificate holder candidates are eligible to get bonus marks as per the below-mentioned table.
“C” Certificate | 10 marks (5% of max marks) |

- There shall be no provision for re-evaluation/re-checking of the scores.
- In case of any difference/discrepancy/dispute in the Questions between English and Hindi, the questions in English will be considered for finalizing the final marks.
